Extreme Harness with Metal Buckles

The Tactipup Extreme harness is designed for people who need or simply want the best possible harness for their dog.  We spent 3+ years creating various prototypes, testing them in regular day-to-day use, testing them in bite work on a back-tie, testing them in tracking, as well as day-to-day patrol and landed on this design that our customers LOVE.

This harness is constructed with the best materials we could get our hands on and features 2 AustriAlpin Cobra buckles for easy on/off.  Many designs on the market today have one buckle, requiring you to put the harness over the dog's head and lift one of the dog's front legs up and through the front loop before allowing you to secure the harness.  Our patent pending design allows you to put the harness over the dog's head, pass the chest plate through their front legs, and then buckle each side.  If your dog is reactive, amped, or generally difficult to manage, this will make your life significantly easier.

Pro Tip: If you choose "No Logo - Loop Panel for Patch" under the "Chest Logo Color" drop down, we offer a wide range of patches that are designed specifically to fit the 2.75" x 2.75" loop patch panel.

Features:

  • 5.5" x 4" loop on each rear side for patches
  • 2 AustriAlpin Cobra Buckles
  • Low Profile grab handle
  • Forged Steel V-Ring

Extreme Harness

Very Well made buckles are very secure. Looks great on my shepherd. Almost was too big but adjusted down and fits great. Plenty of room to grow. He’s 1.5 yrs and 98 lbs. granted is a little pricy but you get your moneys worth in the construction of it. I also have the leach and that is awesome. Highly recommend

Best Harness I Have Ever Owned

The Extreme Harness is hands down the best harness I have ever used. I bought a Medium for my 55 pound Golden Retriever and it exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish is flawless. I have a high drive dog from hunting lineage. I know tactical harnesses only have the top D-ring for tracking, but I was concerned about not having a front sternum "no pull" D-ring for more control. I've read where others have stated the wider webbing and the panels of this harness distribute the pressure more evenly over the dog's body resulting in a more responsive dog. The first time using this harness I had a four-and-a-half mile "near perfection" walk with my high drive pup. It also sold me on the alloy Cobra buckles as well. I wanted to have a grab handle and this harness fit the bill perfectly. The fit allows full range movement of the dog's front legs and shoulders which is absolutely crucial for any harness I use on my dogs. The side panels are a bonus for anybody needing or wanting to add patches or ID. This is the best purchase I've ever made for dog gear. If you are deciding on a Tactipup tactical harness but you don't need a grab handle or side panels, then the new Recon Harness may be the perfect choice for your pup. The Recon also gives you the option of polymer buckles or alloy Cobra buckles. Either way you can't go wrong with a Tactipup tactical harness. Highest recommendation.

Morrigan

Morrigan loves it, kit is extremely durable and more comfortable than all the other harnesses she has gone through in her 1 1/2 years.
